Children and Adults with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (CHADD), is a national nonprofit organization that improves the lives of people affected by ADHD through education, advocacy, and support.
Dr Pam McCaskill has served as the professional advisor of our local Western-Wayne County ChADD chapter for the past 8 years. Our meetings are held once a month (usually at Northville High School). We are able to get the most elite, well-respected doctors and professionals to present free 1 -2 hour presentations on the topic of the month. Topics are decided based on input of the members and include things such as the newest advances in ADHD treatment, advocating for you child at school through IEP and 504 plans, parenting strategies, decreasing homework battles, sleep difficulties, medication, improving self-esteem, social and peer difficulties, and other topics common to those affected by ADHD.
Meeting are free and open to everyone (adults only please). There is no need to pre-register. You can simply come to any presentation that is of interest to you.
