Help for Parents of Troubled Teens

Parent Support Group - McCaskill Family Services - Screen_Shot_2019-07-24_at_9Are You a Parent of a Struggling Teen?

Behind most teens that are struggling, whether from anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts, or acting out behaviors, are parents that are struggling to cope and parent them. Many parents feel like they are walking on eggshells, feel guilty or inadequate, and struggle with what to do during a crisis.

Our parent support group is designed to give parents a safe place to talk about what they are going through, exchange ideas with other parents, and access professional advice and strategies from licensed psychologists.

You can benefit from this group if you are a parent/guardian who is raising a teen with:

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Oppositional/Defiant Behavior
  • School Refusal
  • Psychosis
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Self-harm
  • Suicidal Ideation
  • Anger
  • Peer Conflict
