Death of a child

Losing a child is the most devastatingly, painful thing that can happen to any parent. You are meant to protect your child and you couldn’t. You want to speak to him/her or hold them one more time and you can’t. You may have regrets for things you said or didn’t say, did or didn’t do.

You may feel like the pain is too much to handle and you cannot go on. We often describe grief of losing a child as worst than most intense physical pain you have ever experienced without the option to go the emergency room for pain relief medication.

You are not alone and we can help you. The most important step that you can take right now is to make that first appointment and allow us to get you through this so that the pain becomes more manageable and you can begin to function better. Through empirically proven treatments such as Mindfulness, Cognitive- Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Therapy you will feel better and get some relief.
